To best understand the history of bitcoin and blockchain, we need to hear from bitcoin & blockchain historians who were present during the time of Satoshi Nakamoto, or not long after he departed.
People who discovered and used bitcoin before 2013 understand it fundamentally differently from those who entered during later speculative cycles and rarely use it for transactions.

People should be able to legally own and use bitcoin if they comply with basic laws against fraud and theft.
Bitcoin requires a new legal framework because existing financial laws do not fully fit decentralized digital assets.
